Mineral Insulated Resistance Temperature Sensors MGO - Pt 100, Pt 500 and Pt 1000
Let us introduce the youngest group of resistance temperature sensors in our product range. These are Mineral insulated resistance temperature sensors MGO whose biggest advantage is their shapeable case (measuring part). We are able to offer these resistance temperature sensors with the sensing elements Pt 100, Pt 500 and Pt 1000; the minimum standard diameter of the measuring part is 1.5 mm (we are able to offer even smaller diameters on customer's request).
Thus, the mineral insulated resistance temperature sensors MGO catch up notionally with thermocouples. Their main advantage over standard thermocouples is the stability and accuracy of the measurement. The temperature range of these sensors is up to 600 °C (depending on the type of design). We offer the temperature sensors in the cable, head and connector versions

The most frequent use of mineral insulated resistance temperature sensors MGO is e.g. in health care, mechanical engineering, for temperature measurements in dies, for temperature measurements in inaccessible places and in other applications where it is necessary to use a small diameter of the measuring part of the sensor and a quick time response and a shapeable sensor case are required.
