The J 014 thermowells are components that are usually screwed or welded into pipes. They are designed to protect the measuring part of the sensors against the effects of the measured environment. They allow that the sensors can be replaced during operation of the technological equipment.
As standard, they are provided with an external thread G ½” and an internal thread G ½”, but it is possible to deliver them with a thread M20×1.5, M27×2 and others, according to the customer’s request.
The J 014 thermowells are designed for cable or head sensors provided with a thread where the inner thread is used for convenient connection of the sensor to the well and the outer thread is used for process connection to the pipeline.
In addition to the standard lengths listed in the table of technical parameters below, the thermowells are also manufactured in non-standard lengths.
The thermowells are manufactured for a nominal pressure of PN63.
Note: The J 014 thermowell, including the thread, is always 20 mm shorter than the length of the sensor. The sensor is to be screwed into the thread in the hexagonal head.
