Temperature sensors for measuring the temperature of electromotor windings

Dear business partners,
we would like to introduce you our new series of temperature sensors for measuring the temperature of electromotor windings

Cable resistance temperature sensors encapsulated in metal housing or in heat-shrink tube. These temperature sensors operate in various temperature ranges from -50 °C to 260 °C (according to temperature sensor type). The most common sensing elements are Pt 100, Pt 1000, Ni 1000, KTY, NTC, PTC.

Temperature sensors are most frequently used for measuring the temperature of electromotor windings. Other applications of these temperature sensors can include temperature measurements in laboratories and in testing facilities, measurements of temperature of solid, liquid and gaseous substances. Temperature sensors have high electric strength up to 5 kV, according to sensor type (electric strength can be even higher if requested).Temperature sensors for measuring temperature of electric motor winding

Temperature sensors comprise the sensing element Pt 100 or Pt 1000, but they can also be fitted with thermistors NTC or PTC, and even KTY. Cables or conductors are connected with the sensing element (various types according to application and customer’s request) and encapsulated in metal housing or heat-shrinking sleeve. Measuring ranges of the sensors vary according to the type of application.

We can offer you two types of temperature sensors for measuring temperature of electromotor winding:

 

1/ Temperature sensors into electromotor windings - temperature sensors insulated by heat-shrink tube TR 097x type

Cable temperature sensors whose housing comprises a heat-shrink tube. These sensors are distinguished for their high electric strength 5 kV (it can be even higher if requested) and their most common application is measuring the temperature in electric motor windings.

Basic parameters of temperature sensors insulated by heat-shrink tube:

  • Sensing element: Pt 100, Pt 1000, Ni 1000, NTC, PTC, KTY, other as requested
  • Temperature range of use: temperature class H -20 °C to 180 °C
  • Lead-in wires: teflon FEP or PFA 0.22 mm2
  • Electric strength: 5 kV (higher acc. to requirements)
  • Ingress protection: IP 20
  • Connection: 2wire, 3wire or 4wire


Parameters and design of the sensor may be adjusted as requested.

 

Cable temperature sensors with the housing made of Sklotextit frame and heat-shrink tube. These temperature sensors are distinguished for their high electric strength 5 kV (higher acc. to requirements) and most frequently used for measuring the temperature in the slot of the electric motor stator.

Basic parameters of temperature sensors insulated by of Sklotextit frame and  heat-shrink tube:

  • Sensing element: Pt 100, Pt 1000, Ni 1000, NTC, PTC, KTY, other as requested
  • Temperature range of use: temperature class H -20 °C to 180 °C
  • Case: Sklotextit frame covered with heat-shrink tube
  • Lead-in wires: teflon APFA
  • Electric strength: 5 kV (higher acc. to requirements)
  • Ingress protection: IP 65
  • Connection: 2wire, 3wire or 4wire


Parameters and design of the sensor may be adjusted as requested.
